The hotel assigned to me was changed to Skypix the day before arrival, without any notice, which was the worst experience; they also refused to cancel even with such short notice.
I chose this place for the great deal, and overall it was decent for the price; the rooms were acceptable and the spot works for budget travelers, but the reality didn’t match the online photos and the surroundings were less appealing than expected. Breakfast was included, yet a gas problem meant only idli was served, supplemented by food from a nearby shop; as I’m not accustomed to Indian cuisine, it wasn’t to my taste. Still, given the budget-friendly rate, it was an acceptable stay and a good choice for those seeking an affordable option rather than luxury.
The place was very nice.
“very very bad”
I was booked at VRJ Residency, 400 m from Chennai Trade Centre, but ended up at Service Tree Apartment, about 8 km from the same centre; last year I stayed at VRJ Residency on the same date, and this year the accommodation was extremely poor.
“PLEASE DONT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY..WASTE OF MONEY”
The AC wasn’t working, the staff and owner seemed completely fraudulent, there was no generator, the nearby chawls made it feel more like a chawl than a hotel, and the non‑refundable policy was a trick; they’re partners with them.
