The accommodation was very pretty, the breakfast was very good and plentiful, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s well‑situated for hikes, but the staircase from the ground floor to the first floor is very steep and narrow.

The apartment’s location is perfect for day trips or hikes around Cinque Terre, and you can enjoy breakfast at the nearby hotel overlooking Manarola. Volastra sits above Manarola and has everything you need—a minimarket, bar, restaurant, and a wine garden with a fantastic view. The owners are very friendly and helpful. A bus runs from Volastra to Manarola, and from there you can explore Cinque Terre by train or on foot. Thanks for everything; we’ll be back! The stair from the living area to the bedroom is a bit narrow; I’m 1.75 m and 105 kg, so it was a bit tight but I managed fine.

The location is great for exploring Cinque Terre, whether you’re on foot or biking. On the arrival day there was no table at the restaurant; the village only has two.
