Unfortunately, nothing was good. They are unethical, lock the access gate, advertise a breakfast that isn’t even a black coffee, the room has no fan or curtains, and the reception is terrible.

The shower was solid, the bed comfy, and the surrounding nature was a real treat. The couple running the place were friendly and the locals were nice too – everything was great. I liked everything.

The place was clean and well organized, and the hosts were polite and welcoming. From there we could see Pedra do Baú and the valley – pretty cool.

Stayed at Chalé Alto da Pedra and it was fantastic. Jussara greeted us with a big smile and made us feel right at home. The chalet matched the listing exactly – no surprises, everything spotless and tidy. The view is gorgeous and the silence is perfect for unwinding and connecting with nature. Don’t miss chatting with Jussara over coffee, and try Ju’s homemade cachaça – it’s a great conversation starter and surprisingly tasty. Highly recommend and would definitely come back.
