The spot is great, but there’s no housekeeping so I never got fresh towels or coffee refills.

The location is fairly close to downtown, but the spa tub has several cracks, the curtains have brown stains, the towels are rough and scratchy, and it’s not worth $300 a night.

We booked the Red Lion because it’s close to the Wings and Waves water park, and the staff were friendly, but the pull‑out couch mattress was stained, there was no room service, the bed wasn’t made or changed, breakfast was mediocre, the hotel hot tub was broken, and the whole place smelled old and musty—clearly it wasn’t cleaned properly. The building can be old, but it needs a deep clean.
