The room was cozy, retro style, the courtyard was surrounded by nature, there was a park, many small stalls, a vineyard, places to walk, the main manor house housed a museum, an exhibition of folk artists’ works, painting displays, and concerts took place. The breakfast at the restaurant Kuchmistrai was excellent. I recommend it for those wanting a calm introductory weekend in art and nature.

We were there over the weekend when a storm devastated Lithuania; Zypliai Manor also suffered, losing electricity, water, internet, and phone service. The way they cared for guests under those conditions was unbelievable; truly deserving of the highest praise and thanks.
