The setting is lovely in Petite Saguenay. There’s a common area on the second floor with a microwave, dishes, and cutlery. EV fast charging is two doors down. A well-stocked grocery store is across the street. Don’t miss the wharf (quay) for great fjord views. It isn’t fancy. The rooms feel more like a friend’s cottage. Be warned that many restaurants are closed Monday and Tuesday during certain times.

No staff were available upon arrival or overnight. We struggled to find a decent place to eat. The only restaurant we found closed at 6:30 pm.

The breakfast area was set up for guests to bring their own food. Dinner wasn’t served every day; on the one night we had it, it was a short, cold meal. The hotel is far from restaurants.
