The hotel was incredibly quiet and situated in what I consider the best spot: from the window you can see the ARK fortress wall, just a hand‑reach to the Kalyan minaret, the mysterious Mir Arab madrasa, and the stunning Kalon mosque; a pleasant five‑minute walk brings you to the Trade Domes, Labi House, Hojja with his clever donkey, and countless charms of old Bukhara, while the rich market and the cozy park with the Samani Mausoleum are ten minutes away on foot, everything is nearby. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and pleasant, equipped with a fridge which is vital in the hot summer, and the hosts were wonderful—sweet Zarina explained everything and offered help at every turn. Breakfasts were very good: tasty, varied and generous, so you never go hungry. We left early, and the owner kindly called a taxi for us at 4 am and helped with our luggage, which I greatly appreciate. We’ve stayed at “Rose of the Desert” twice, and if I ever get another chance to visit Bukhara I’ll gladly return to this hotel with gratitude.
“Номер рядом с крепостью”
The hotel sits in a perfect spot, just a short walk from the main sights, and the staff were quick to help. Even though we’d paid through the next morning, they packed us a breakfast to take away when we left in the evening. The room didn’t have any TV streaming, and there were no channels available. There was also no wardrobe; the only hook in the wall niche was mounted so high that, at my 164 cm height, I couldn’t reach it, and the single hanger provided was already badly worn. When we first entered, there were no disposable shampoos, gels, toothbrushes or slippers, and the liquid soap was only in two bottles stuck to the wall, though they did bring us toothbrushes and paste after we asked.
The spot is amazing – everything is within walking distance. We checked in at 13:00, but we arrived early in the morning and were able to settle right away, no extra fee. Breakfast was hearty and varied, and we could arrange the timing. The room was clean, roomy, and had everything we needed. The owners were very friendly.
“Остались очень довольны своим выбором и отдохнули отлично! Всем рекомендую!”
A very quiet family hotel in the city’s tourist centre, impeccably clean everywhere, with many interesting photos on the walls. Breakfast is served at a time convenient for you. There’s a fridge and a water cooler. If there are events on the square, you’ll hear them in the room, but that’s the price of such a great location!
Everything was excellent. The location is fantastic, right next to the Arc. Clean, neat. Tasty breakfast. The hosts were very polite and welcoming. They allowed us to leave our luggage on the day of departure because our train was later. We were coming for the Marathon, and the hotel was only 30 m from the start line.
