Located in a historic 1700s building on central Falkenberg's Storgatan shopping street, Värdshuset Hwitan offers rooms with TVs, private bathrooms, and showers. Views are of the pedestrian street or garden. Breakfast is included and served at a nearby sister property. Music events are occasionally held in the garden during summer. Falkenberg Museum is a 15-minute walk, and Falkenberg Train Station is 2 km away, near River Ätran.

Breakfast was good. The inn’s location was very good. The bathroom lighting could have been better; it was a weak orange glow. The bathroom was clean but still felt cramped.

Okay, but you ended up eating there at another hotel. The staff at Grand, who couldn’t answer questions, were poorly informed because it was linked to Grand.

The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and tidy. Having the reception in one building and the rooms a few hundred meters away made checking in and out a bit cumbersome.

The breakfast was great and the location was spot on! The staff were super friendly and the room was clean and comfy, though a few more sockets in the right spots would have been nice. We had a bit of confusion at check‑in and breakfast because the Grand Hotel was marked by a sign by the door; I might have missed a cycling trip notification, but we were initially lost. What we really missed was clear signs for where to leave our travel bikes in secure storage – other cyclists on Kattegatleden seemed puzzled too.
