I enjoyed a morning walk by the nearby Biwa Pond. I wish the hot spring had been authentic. The meals were just right in size, but the beef seemed imported and the fat didn’t match. Some parts of the facilities were a bit old, but that was fine for the stay. The staff were very helpful. I also ordered rice balls for lunch, and they gave me leftovers from breakfast—fried chicken, tamagoyaki, and pickles—as a service. Thank you! I had a tasty meal at Iwamatsu-in. The lock was hard to close, and the breakfast cost 2200 ¥, which was too expensive. I’d have preferred it to be around 1000 ¥ for just rice and miso soup.
