The pool, sauna, and view were great, but the price was too high for what was offered. With the 1450 lei per night I paid, I could have easily stayed at a top hotel in Poiana Brașov. Here it feels like more work is needed, though it is still Vatra Dornei.

Everything was wonderful; we spent three extraordinary days enjoying the sauna and pool, the food was delicious and the scenery like a fairy‑tale, the owner was very courteous and let us pick our own room, the property offers many facilities and the deer and roe‑deer roaming the grounds each morning create a story‑book setting – we highly recommend it!

The spot is pretty nice, the room was clean, and the lady at the restaurant was sweet and the food was decent. The owner is a very difficult person with some pretty extreme rules. I could understand not bringing food and drinks from outside, but being forced to sit on a chair just to enjoy the view after paying a lot for the room was awful. Unfortunately I don’t recommend the place and would never return.

I had a dream vacation! The location is completely renovated, the services are top‑quality, comfortable, quiet, and everything is tastefully arranged. It’s a premium spot that doesn’t cater to people who bring their own food or don’t follow common sense rules. Kudos to the Domeniul Cris team!
