The location was beautiful, the staff were very helpful, the beds comfortable, and the place was quiet; daily cleaning made the stay even better, and the bungalow was spacious. The shower and bathroom felt a bit outdated, but the regular cleaning kept the room fresh. The walk to town is doable, though a short section feels like a hike – better to wear sports shoes or take a boat.

It was a nice place to stay, the beachfront bungalows are nice. Good 2 person kayak available for use. The whole place in general needs some attention, looking a bit tired but was clean. Poor communication prior to our stay

The view was indescribable, the staff were super friendly, and the price‑performance was great. Phi Phi Island has become too touristy; before the hotel there were more boats in the water than people swimming. The beach has fine sand but the water is very rocky, so wear shoes and watch out for sea urchins and poisonous jellyfish. The accommodation has seen better days, but for the price it’s acceptable. Maya Bai charges 400 Baht for foreigners and 40 Baht for locals. Swimming is not allowed, only feet can go in; overall it’s too touristy, which is a pity, but otherwise it’s a wonderful spot, and we were there in the off‑season.

The place is isolated and clean, and you wake up stepping onto the beach. Getting there requires a 30‑minute trek; if it rains that’s the only way, and you have to be in a rock‑heavy state.
