The pool was clean and pleasant, and the location was good. The reception manager was very kind. I contacted Booking for several reasons: the photos are completely unrepresentative; there is no continental breakfast, only Egyptian, even though the listing says continental. Breakfast is listed as starting at 8 am but it is never served before 9 am; when we asked for an earlier start at 8 am because we were leaving for an excursion, we were told it was impossible. There are no drinks in the breakfast (never seen that). Cleanliness is lacking, with many flies around the pool because the bins are not emptied regularly, and given the temperatures you can imagine. Another major issue: the staff kept looking at me constantly, daily, making me very uncomfortable when I was at the pool, hiding behind barriers to watch me. The staff played music for themselves until late at night, preventing us from resting. We’ve stayed in many hotels and never seen anything like this.
