Gonzalo and his wife were attentive and we thoroughly enjoyed the exquisite, generous meals; we chatted with them at every dinner, and the kids loved the whole experience. However, we felt very cold at night even though we had several blankets.

Gonzalo and Jeny were extremely friendly, the room was beautiful and super comfortable, and the food and breakfast with them were great. Nothing negative.

Gonzalo and his family welcomed us warmly, handled every detail from tasty homemade dishes to arranging island tours, and in the evenings supplied traditional local attire for cultural celebrations featuring live music and dance with Amantani locals and other guests. The new accommodation was spotless, well maintained, and its small heating system kept the room cozy on chilly nights, making the stay unforgettable; Amantani itself is a stunning island I highly recommend.

The hospitality, food, overall experience, activities with the host family, and location were all excellent. I didn’t like that reaching the island requires taking a tourist boat that stops at several islands.

Gonzalo and his wife are incredibly warm and friendly, sharing plenty about the island, its people, and culture. With just the three of us, he hiked with us to the island’s highest point and his wife taught us how to weave traditional bracelets and other items. The food was outstanding, and I’d gladly return. Nothing negative.
