The house was spacious, but it was ridiculously overpriced for a run‑down property that smelled of mildew. Half of the rooms were essentially empty, with large closets but no hangers. There was a washer and dryer, yet no detergent. The kitchen was fully equipped but the cupboards were mostly empty, holding random dishes in no particular order—two bowls, three mismatched plates, and the rest seemed like a last‑minute yard‑sale haul. We had more towels than needed but no extra garbage bags. The TV was useless, offering only Roku, and despite the listing claiming free Wi‑Fi, the house had no internet at all. We had to go to the front office every time we needed to look something up or use a food‑ordering app because it was the only place with a connection. I left three messages about this issue before getting a reply, and the response was a condescending guy who despised the internet and told us to “just find something else to do.” A woman he sent to “check it out” did nothing except fiddle with the TV, got angry, started swearing, and put her hand in my husband’s face before storming out—all within a 5‑minute time span. I booked the house for 5 nights, left 2 days early, and still haven’t received any refund.

The location was good, but with some updates and repairs this place could be a gold mine. I never even took the time to unwrap the new beach chairs at the pool; they still had tags and plastic on them, so they weren’t exactly clean.

“Not good value, but safe.”

The location was good, but the hot water took a very long time to come through. The shower head was fixed, so you had to stand on the opposite side to get wet. The toilet “flushed” every time the neighbors flushed. Everything in the fridge froze, so we had to get up at night and take items out to make breakfast. There was a stain on the bedsheet. The towels were almost threadbare. The blinds did not all shut, and one was not easy to open.
