The accommodation was lovely, had everything you need with some nice additional touches, and was very peaceful with beautiful views.

I absolutely loved my stay at this lodge; the place was spotless, and the balcony offered a gorgeous view. You can really tell the hosts put a lot of thought into the details—from the high‑quality toiletries in the bathroom to the great coffee provided in the kitchen. The little tuck shop was also a very cute and welcome addition! However, there were just a few minor things that could be improved: the bathroom could really use an extra towel rail, and unfortunately the TV wouldn't connect to Netflix. Also, if you're staying for more than a couple of days, keep in mind that clothing storage is limited; there are no drawers and only a few hangers provided.

The facilities were spotless and well thought out; everything was provided, from chargers and heaters to toothbrushes, in case you forgot anything. The hotel was a short distance from Cardiff city centre and a brief walk from a fantastic pub, and the owners made sure we had everything we needed and more. The only downside was a mat inside by the front door for wet shoes due to the weather.
