The rooms were modern and comfy. Checking in, even on a Sunday afternoon when the front desk was empty, was easy and hassle‑free. Breakfast was genuinely good, and the waste‑reduction concept was a nice touch. The staff were very friendly. The bike storage was good, secure, and offered charging for e‑bikes. Food at Acker Alm is highly recommended. Overall, the value for money was solid. The hotel feels more geared toward business travelers than families, so if that doesn’t bother you, you can enjoy a pleasant holiday.

The hotel is modern with nice rooms, a bike storage area accessed via room cards, and excellent breakfast. The staff were friendly, and swapping rooms away from the street was no issue. It’s a pretty good hotel, but it’s really set up as a conference venue. Two major drawbacks for cyclists: 1) Its location outside the town between the main street and the federal road makes it hard to reach on bike or foot, and the hotel restaurant is closed on weekends and otherwise often used for private events, so there’s practically no nearby dining. 2) No evening service – no room service to get food after hours. When we arrived at 16:30, we were told the sauna had to be shut down at 18:00 for fire safety because no one would be in the building, and the sauna itself is small, with only two indoor benches, so it’s unsuitable for a group. If you don’t plan to ride again in the evening, check whether the hotel restaurant is open.

“Mooi nieuw hotel met lekker ontbijt”

The room was nice and spacious, the breakfast was good, the nearby alm was fun, and there were plenty of free parking spaces. The reception area had poor coverage and the Wi‑Fi was terrible, so we couldn’t get our baby monitor working. The surroundings weren’t very atmospheric; you have to walk a bit to reach the village.

“Tolles Hotel - ideal für Radfahrer - jederzeit gern wieder!”

Everything here was perfect – the rooms were top‑class and spacious, the whole building felt modern, thoughtfully designed, and eco‑friendly. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and varied, and the storage and charging spots for e‑bikes and bicycles were spot‑on. We were thoroughly impressed and would definitely recommend it. The only downside was that the hotel is a bit out of the city centre, so walking to the town is not convenient; that evening we only had pizza delivery because the hotel restaurant was closed for an event, but that was fine and we were warned beforehand.
