“Nature at its best”

What a perfect way to spend a few days, just wished it could have been longer. The hut was gorgeous. Polly and Marc have fitted her out in such a thoughtful way and have thought of absolutely everything you could need whilst staying here, including a few treats, which was a lovely thought. The lakeside views are beautiful and being able to appreciate nature from first thing in the morning to last thing at night was very special. Just remember to also look up at night . the stars are amazing. When you can drag yourself away the woods are an adventure, the cafe sublime and sea glass hunting in Polperro is a must. Looking forward to coming back already!

Such an amazing weekend. Accommodation was cozy clean and beautiful. Close to local walks. Shopping not too far away. Polly and Marc are very welcoming offering little extras to the stay stated in the guide book Would stay again to get lost in the beauty of the place

“Perfect shepherds hut visit in a stunning location.”

The property was well off the beaten track in a beautiful, secluded spot by its very own lake. The lake provided us with an ever‑changing view; the fish and birds provided plenty of entertainment! Inside, the hut was absolutely perfect for our stay with a beautiful bathroom, well‑equipped dresser and super comfy sofa. The mattress was heavenly! We thoroughly enjoyed paddle boarding and swimming in the lake. The only thing we didn’t like was having to leave!
