The location was absolutely great. We had a nice large double room made of two rooms with two double beds. The décor is very old‑fashioned, somewhat in need of care, but very plush. The toiletries were a bit sparse. Parking was relatively easy, and the hotel is a five‑minute walk from the city centre. The breakfast was rather mediocre, with many pre‑packed ready‑to‑eat items, a small breakfast area, and everyone eating at the same table.

Inside the Old City of Lucca, a central and charming spot with a reasonable price, an elevator so no stairs, and the owner, Claudio, is pleasant. The room and bathrooms are cramped – the size is small and storage space minimal – but that’s understandable for the price.
