It was bolt‑friendly, but the prices changed on arrival and we had to add R150 in cash to stay, otherwise we’d have to leave and deal with bookings. They offered Wi‑Fi, but the password didn’t work.

Nothing positive. Everything about the place was negative.

The blankets were clean, but there was no mop in the bathroom, so water spread all over the floor.

Nothing positive. The dog was left loose, the bed was awful, and the renovation left cement everywhere. The bathrooms were unfinished, and the room advertised a private bathroom that didn’t exist. The door was stuck, locking us in all night while the owner didn’t answer his phone until morning. The bathrooms were terrible, the bedding didn’t look clean, and the caretaker lady tried to collect a “booking fee” in cash even though we had already paid.

Nothing positive. There was no toilet paper in the toilet and it stank; the bathroom and shower were missing, and construction was still ongoing.
