I could relax in a naturally rich setting and the breakfast was fantastic. I would definitely want to stay here again when I travel to the area.

For the price, I got to use a large, garden‑facing first‑floor part of a traditional house, which is far bigger than a typical hotel. The cleaning was spot‑on, the outside verandah was nice, and the air‑conditioning worked well. Breakfast was delicious, and the amount of food for the price was impressive. If you’re a picky eater, it’s best to discuss it beforehand. If you’re okay with a non‑hotel feel, the value is unbeatable and the staff really think of everything. On the downside, because it’s not a full‑house rental, the host’s presence can feel intrusive at times. It would help if check‑in opened earlier, but they seem willing to accommodate. Insects might get in when you open or close windows depending on the season, though I didn’t notice any at check‑in.

The innkeeper’s service was the best part! I had imagined a traditional farmhouse, but the interior was modernly renovated and very clean. Breakfast was tasty… I would order it again if possible.

The room was spacious and the breakfast was tasty. At night the room was comfortable even without the air‑conditioner. It’s about 30 km from Fukui city, surrounded by nature. The tatami room was very calming, and on clear nights the stars look beautiful. I’d definitely come back if I get the chance.

The host is friendly, the stay feels relaxed with a single group, the house is old‑school yet clean (probably renovated) and spacious, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious Japanese dishes. Wonderful!
