Had a really frustrating experience with a booking cancellation. A guy called and asked for advance payment, which I wasn't ready to do right away, so I asked him to hold on for 5 minutes. He got aggressive and cancelled the booking, saying the rooms weren't available for me and that I should check elsewhere. Thankfully, the booking itself wasn't cancelled without my knowledge, but the way it was handled was pretty terrible.

This hotel's got a great location, close to the beach and French Colony, and overall it's a good place to stay. The only issue I had was with the room - the bed was super small, which was a problem for me since I was traveling with my baby. It was cramped for three people, and I wish I'd checked ahead of time to make sure they had a bigger bed available. If you're planning a family trip, definitely ask about bed sizes before booking.
