D. Carmen was always very kind and made sure I had everything I needed. The Terrace room faces the street and the sound insulation is very poor, whereas the rooms at the back of the building are very quiet.

The décor and furniture are very stylish and look pretty. The location is great. The owner’s communication was terrible; they didn’t answer my calls or messages, and I only managed to get in thanks to two other travelers who already had the keys. The junior suite I stayed in was on the ground floor, impossibly cold and damp, with no heating inside, making it hard to stay in such conditions for people traveling to São Paulo in winter or early spring (June to October).

The place is clean and cozy, and the Junior Suite I stayed in had a separate entrance. Carmem, the owner, was super friendly and offered help if needed. There’s a mini fridge, a plate, and a cup for one person (not enough for more). It’s only two blocks from Paulista, with a small market and a pizzeria nearby, plus a shopping center on Paulista. Wi‑Fi was spotty at times, but since I had cellular internet, it didn’t matter much.
