Jasmina was a wonderful host who responded quickly and gave useful information. The house was lovely, perfectly clean, warm, and comfortable, with coffee, fresh towels, shampoos, toilet paper, and dishwasher tablets fully stocked. The jacuzzi was great too. The area is residential but there’s a bus stop nearby that takes you to Borlange. The issue isn’t with the property but with the local bus service: while the buses to Borlange run well, those from Borlange to Romme Alpin ski resort run at odd times and infrequently, so we had to take a taxi to the resort in the mornings—just a 10‑minute ride that cost us €79 for a 7‑seater because we were five people. For the return trip we could take two buses, which was reasonable and easy.

The bed was good, the spaces were pleasant, neat, and cozy. It was nice to have two bathrooms, and the kitchen had everything you might need. It could have had four stove plates instead of just two. We were only two people, but the house can accommodate several guests.

We had a decent cabin that was well equipped and a good spot for skiing, but the experience was marred by misleading information and poor service. We had spoken to the host before booking and agreed to pay extra for the hot tub, yet the host never mentioned that we would have to share it with other guests or book a specific time slot. We learned of this only the day before arrival, and the only available slot was 19.30–21.30, forcing us to fit our plans around a schedule instead of using the tub freely. When we questioned this, the host replied that the hot‑tub rental was an extra revenue stream, implying that profit took priority over guest satisfaction. Had we known earlier, we might have chosen a place where shared facilities were standard and the terms were clear from the start. When we asked why we were only told about the shared pool now, the host sent us a link to cancel the stay instead of offering a direct apology. This made us uncomfortable and we had to ask if we were being forced to cancel, as the booking was non‑refundable and we had no choice. At check‑in the host said, “we want the pool at 37 °C, so you can’t touch it,” which reinforced the feeling that we weren’t renting a private amenity but were subject to the host’s preferences, even though we had paid extra for it.

The hot tub was great, the beds were excellent and fresh, and most of the place was clean with a stylish interior. The bathrooms were fresh, parking was convenient, and there was a good selection of TV channels. However, a broom was missing, the kitchen and fridge were a bit too small for so many sleeping spots, and it would have been nice to have an electric‑car charger. There were no wardrobes or hooks for coats, and the oven was a bit complicated with a combined microwave and regular oven, which is understandable given the limited space.
