“Didn’t get any rest, couldn’t see the sun on a sunny day!”
The property is close to everything and looks nice. My wife (who is handicapped) and I had just returned from a 40‑year high‑school reunion and were exhausted when we arrived at midnight. We checked into a room that was supposedly handicapped‑accessible, but there were no clean sheets on the bed; some sheets were even crumpled on the chair, and we couldn’t tell if they were clean or dirty. We’re on the third floor, my wife has trouble walking and her leg hurt, so I had to leave her in the room and take the elevator down to the front desk because there was no phone in the room. The on‑duty staff was kind and immediately moved us to another clean, well‑stocked room. On Sunday morning, while getting ready for church, I opened the blinds to let sunlight in. I tried the switch several times before calling the front desk. A staff member came to our room in a reasonable amount of time, but he couldn’t get the shade to open. My wife and I were heading to church and couldn’t be delayed any longer due to time constraints.
