“Used toilet paper in bed!”

There were absolutely no redeeming features about this place. We arrived to a filthy room: the bed wasn’t made, there was used toilet paper under the covers, the floor was covered in crumbs, and the table was stained. The towels were dirty from previous guests, and the room stank of milk that had been left in the sun; the fridge was off, the door was slightly open, and there was a yellow spill coming from inside. I tried to contact the owner several times by phone, but the number was inactive. I used the property messaging option and received no response, even though there is a sign inside saying please contact me for any issues. We booked for two nights, but because of the lack of response from the owner we didn’t even stay one night. Absolutely disgusting.

Access was easy, and the place was a nice little spot with a good shower and a really big TV! It was comfortable and quiet. The only downside was there was no sink for washing dishes, so we had to use the shower.

“Good for an overnight stay, but that’s about it.”

The location was very central for what we were doing. Parking was on the street, and walking to the back of the complex was inconvenient. I’m pretty sure the photos now are not what they were when I booked eight months ago. The room was tiny, not even enough space to walk between the bed and the “table” mounted to the wall. There was no sink in the kitchenette, so if you want coffee you have to fill the kettle in the bathroom sink. The shower was so small it was hard to wash hair, and the shower door felt broken when trying to close it. Quiet time from 10 pm would have been nice if it also applied to the noise from someone running up and down the hallway at 11 pm in the attached apartment. Overall, it didn’t feel like what I booked eight months ago; I was extremely disappointed with the single garage we booked. If I had been given enough space, I would probably have complained about the whole room and lack of communication once we arrived.

“It was perfect for our short stay”

We found the place exactly what we needed – quiet, cosy, and in a central spot. The only hiccups were the lack of butter knives and no dish‑washing spot, and the bed was broken when we arrived, but the host fixed it right away.

“TV set up in forieghn language. Bed and shower not functing correctly. Small. No sound proofing”

It was very budget‑friendly and close to everything we wanted. I stayed there earlier this month and ran into a few problems: the TV was set to a foreign language and I couldn’t switch to English, the bed and shower weren’t working properly, the room was tiny, there was no sound‑proofing, and the spin dryer ran at 11.30 pm during the night.
