The stay was the most sensational accommodation I’ve ever had in Egypt, with rooms that are creatively decorated, mixing a stone‑age vibe with modern luxury. The silence was extreme, letting us rest superbly, and the staff were extremely attentive. Dinner and breakfast offered a varied selection of local cuisine that was delicious, though we only managed to stay for one night.

The staff were very friendly and the facilities excellent, and the food was also good. Outside the hotel, one is constantly accompanied by the police, which is a bit annoying, but the hotel itself cannot be blamed for that.

The hotel is attractive, offering large and comfortable rooms and bathrooms, though the lighting is dim; some guests might like the subdued glow, but it would be nice to have a normal‑brightness option as well. Breakfast and dinner were extremely plentiful and tasty, and the location is pleasant—just outside town on the desert edge, close to a temple and an archaeological site. The only downside was that water was charged; we received bottled water with breakfast and sometimes more than one bottle per guest in the rooms. While the water itself isn’t pricey, we feel a hotel of this class should include it in the service.

The building is nice. There was no light from 23:00 to 00:00, and without air conditioning the room felt like an oven.
