I’ve stayed here four times now, and it’s a lovely place; the pool and beach are well maintained, the rooms are tidy, and the staff are very welcoming, though the mattress in my room was worn out.
“Ein schönes gepflegtes Hotel mit wunderschönem Garten am Meer.”
The hotel boasts a beautiful, well‑kept garden full of flowers, palm trees, and fountains, and it’s set in a quiet spot; from the balcony we enjoyed a lovely view of the garden. The breakfast buffet was varied, and the evening service was neat with a menu selection. The food was good and plentiful, and the pool area was attractive with free loungers and a nice sandy beach, plus complimentary beach towels. The staff everywhere were very friendly and accommodating. However, the rooms feel a bit dated and would benefit from renovation; the mattresses were old and uncomfortable and should be replaced. The food was generally good, but the meat—especially beef—was poorly cooked, lacking seasoning, sauces, and was tough, which was a common issue throughout our three‑week tour.
“Turquoise sea and sand beach hotel”
The hotel sits right on Nora bay and beach, with a charming village‑shaped layout, and the staff were friendly. The dinner selection and breakfast were excellent, and the noon bar offered tasty salads and other dishes. The location is close to the Nora archaeological park.
“Conclusion: beautiful grounds, but significant shortcomings in food, cleanliness, service and value for money. Unfortuna”
The sandy beach, beautiful sea, and well‑maintained grounds were the only positives of our stay. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of a 4‑star rating. The resort itself is beautiful and the landscaping is clearly a priority, but the rest of our stay did not match that impression. The biggest issue was the food: dinner was partly inedible, and on the second evening we could barely eat the main dish, ending up with only dessert. Lunch at the bar was also disappointing, appearing to be mostly frozen or pre‑prepared items simply reheated. For a hotel of this class we expected higher quality and fresher food. Even more frustrating was how our complaint was handled: we told the staff the food was unacceptable, but nobody addressed the issue, and we were still charged about €217. No one asked for our feedback or tried to resolve the problem or offer any goodwill. We found this extremely disappointing. The breakfast buffet was also very limited, with little variety and insufficient consideration of dietary needs; as a non‑pork eater, we had to ask each time whether turkey salami or other alternatives were available. For a hotel of this category, we expected more options and clearer choices. Dish and glass cleanliness was another problem: some glasses had a strong egg smell, and others still showed remnants of fruit juice.
The hotel is set in a very pleasant, quiet setting with well‑maintained gardens; breakfast was plentiful, sweet and savory, and the private beach was a highlight of our enjoyable stay.
