“Nao vale a pena”

Near the center and the owners are very helpful. There’s a clothesline for hanging damp clothes. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows had a terrible odor, so I bought a new pillow just to sleep. The shower area had a lot of mold and the shower itself was just a pipe full of mold. Towels also smelled bad, and even though the room was cleaned daily, the towels weren’t changed. There was no mini‑fridge in our room to keep water, which is absurd in such a hot place. Finally, we left for dinner near the lodge and turned on the air‑conditioning to keep the room cool because the glass window wouldn’t open and it was sweltering. A short while after we left, we received a complaint about this, and when we returned we found that someone had entered the room to turn off the AC. We chose this lodge because of its good rating, but we were very disappointed with the facilities.

Paula took care of us superbly and was always available. Adriana and Juan helped us with tours and city tips. There could have been a fridge in the outdoor area.

Friendly, quick, correct, and kind service. Paula, Adriana, and Juan handled everything very well. The lodge sits next to a market, is quiet, and is a 10‑minute walk from the airport. I rented a motorcycle from Juan and also booked a tour with him, both at lower prices than competitors. It’s about a 15‑minute walk to the center, but I recommend renting a motorcycle; everything is closer and you’ll need it for more mobility and freedom around the island.
