We stayed in a beautiful, very quiet apartment in a park setting. Breakfast was typical French with homemade jams, Gugelhupf, baguette, and freshly brewed coffee specialties. Dinner was exceptional, with the regular menu plus about five daily specials. Everything was incredibly tasty. All was great!

The restaurant service and calm setting were positives, but the facilities were outdated. No comfort, old beds, rough stairs to lift luggage, and a pee in the toilet when we arrived. In short, not something that put you in a good mood.

“An outstanding stay—we’re already looking forward to returning”

Ferme Auberge du Moulin des Sept Fontaines surpassed every expectation, from its stunning setting to the fantastic food. An old oil mill and active farm, with Charolais cattle and horses grazing nearby, cats to cuddle, forests to wander, and bike trails to explore. It was wonderfully quiet. The staff spoke English and German and thoughtfully gave us a ground‑floor room because my husband had walking difficulties. If you need similar arrangements, message the property beforehand. The food alone would bring you back—yet we’d gladly return for the whole experience. Note: order the Alsatian specialties at least five days ahead. We missed that this time, so we already have something to look forward to! There is absolutely nothing to dislike. This was an exceptional stay.
