The view was great and the spot was quiet; the staff were friendly and getting an Uber was a breeze. However, some things could use a refresh: the ping‑pong table and rackets were lacking, pool cues were broken, only one soft pillow was supplied, there was no tea or coffee in the room, and the pool was too cold—adding a heating system would help.

The location and beach: Great spot a bit from the airport. The hotel sits in a quiet area at the end of the peninsula. You can reach a nice beach and the sea directly through the gate on the card. The pool and entertainment: A good pool with two slides, suitable for kids. The accommodation: The room is adequate and clean. It shows it has had some use (occasionally a tile falls off), but everything is fully functional. The safe in the room is included at no extra charge. Ecology: I like the eco approach – towels are changed as needed, just leave a note on the door. Services and service: Within All Inclusive, coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic drinks are available continuously (self-service and at the pool bar). On the day of departure, AI ends at lunch and the reception offers free luggage storage. Staff and payments: Very friendly and extremely fast service (sometimes they will take your plate even before you finish). You can pay by card or cash. Travel tips: The bus stop to the city is only 5 minutes from the hotel (connections run roughly every 15 minutes). I recommend buying the Dubrovnik Pass, go to the city and back to the airport using the Platanus bus for a few euros.

The hotel was perfect for families, especially for kids :))) The Maro Club playroom exceeded all expectations, kids can be left under care from age 3, the program is rich with many activities, and we’ve never seen anything like it before, even though we travel a lot. Early check‑in was possible. My son still rides a stroller—everywhere was accessible, even the beach. The rooms were okay, but we didn’t like the close proximity to noisy fans, so we were moved to a different room with a sea view, even though we had paid for a standard one. The room had plenty of shelves and hangers, but the bathroom was cramped. The hotel sits in a park of old olive trees, far from roads, so there’s little traffic noise. You can walk easily to the Lapad promenade or, on the other side, to the port (the route there is less scenic). The meals were tasty and varied. The all‑inclusive package with alcohol includes white, red, semi‑dry wine, and draft beer. Overall, the hotel is old but renovated and looks good. Valamar Argosy gives a newer feel, but that’s for another stay. The only downside was the coffee—awful and weak, though you can buy good coffee at the hotel bar ;)

The hotel’s location is superb. The beautiful Cobacabanastrand is a short walk away. The view of the water, sea, and ferry ships is gorgeous. In 10 minutes on foot you reach the bus stop—great. The rooms are clean, nice, and have good beds. The all‑inclusive cocktails were good. The soft drinks and juices were so diluted they tasted nothing. The coffee was not good. The food, which could be good, was often cold.
