The tiny cabin felt like a home with plenty of thoughtful touches such as storage, coat hangers, a folding table and chairs, and a comfy bed. Waking up to nature and spotting pelicans and other birds on the dam was a real highlight.

Everything was great, and there was nothing to criticize.

It’s a quiet place with plenty of space, and kangaroos roam the grass. The showers have a 5‑minute timer, and in winter it takes about 3 minutes for hot water to arrive; then there’s roughly a 2‑minute pause before you can shower properly.

I stayed in a wooden cabin without an ensuite, slept soundly, and the environment was very quiet with spotless facilities; the cabin itself was warm and cozy, and the lady at the front desk was very helpful with recommendations for things to see and do.
