The surroundings, the view and the friendly staff made it perfect for activities like rafting and kayaking, although my shared four‑person room lacked any hooks on the walls or door—a useful suggestion—but I was alone so I could still use the beds.

Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit and great coffee. The bar area overlooking the river is spectacular, and the staff were very helpful. We had trouble with noise from nearby bars, and the power was usually off all night, so we had no fans to keep the noise down. Also, there was no hot water in our shower.

Clean and good value for money. It’s a bit far from the center of Jinja, but I knew that when I booked.

The location is excellent, the activities are varied and good, staff are lovely, and the bar area is comfortable and ideally positioned. The restaurant food is inconsistent; stick to nachos, chilli, and baked potatoes. Wi‑Fi was only in the bar and was very slow. My room probably needed a deep clean. A kettle, tea, and cups were provided, but the kettle couldn’t be plugged in because the pins didn’t match the outlet.
