I give it a perfect score! From the moment I approached Qiancun to the hotel entrance, the door opened wide. The staff were enthusiastic, which is exactly what I expected. The room was clean and comfortable, the view unbeatable, and the on‑site entertainment and restaurant were excellent. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the ten‑mile corridor and the small electric donkey to Gongnong Bridge, making it convenient to return the same way. At night, you can photograph a different starry sky. The hotel offers laundry facilities, so kids can wash their clothes after swimming. Everything was great.

The homestay sits on the Yulong River bank. As soon as you open the window, you see winding rivers and green mountains, like a living landscape painting. In the morning you wake to birdsong and fresh mountain air; in the evening you sit on the terrace, watch the sunset, and feel the atmosphere fill you. The guest room is a light luxury style, and you sense the quality immediately. The mattress is super soft, so you sleep well; the smart bathroom and electric curtains are very convenient. Opening the curtains in the morning brings sunshine and beautiful scenery—this is what a vacation should feel like.

I’ve visited Yangshuo several times and stayed at well‑received hotels in the county before. This time I chose the one by the river, and Norton Manor was a pleasant surprise. It’s unclear whether it’s a hotel or a homestay, but it’s decorated in medieval style, clean, and has elevators and laundry rooms. Located on the Yulong River bank, the view is unbeatable, unobstructed by buildings, and the lawn is spacious. The room looks beautiful, and it’s nice to sit downstairs on the shore and daydream. The restaurant is good, and the supporting facilities are complete. There’s a large parking lot, free fishing, and child‑play areas. I didn’t bring my kids this time for a quiet stay, which I regret. The staff are enthusiastic and unpretentious. I highly recommend it—a rare high‑quality hotel on the Yulong River.

Life isn’t just about the present; it’s also about poetry and distance. This hotel fits that poem perfectly! Located between mountains and rivers, the overall design is poetic and picturesque. The location is great—just by the Yulong River, you can see bamboo rafts drifting by, full of fairy‑like spirit. The open‑air pool lets you hear cicadas in the distance and feel the mountain breath. On rainy days it’s even more comfortable. Staying in the room and listening to rain is another way to enjoy.
