Burgos Guest House sits in historic Évora, just 50 m from Giraldo Square, the cathedral and Roman Temple, and 1 km from the railway station. The lounge showcases elegant 17th‑century furniture, while each room features wooden floors, a safe, private bathroom with free toiletries and a hairdryer; select rooms offer balconies with city views. Nearby cafés and restaurants provide convenient dining options.

The location is good, the dining area is equipped, clean, and organized. However, the box was too small; we bumped into the tap and it shut. The mattress leaned to one side of the bed. The building has no elevator and this wasn’t mentioned in the description. Rooms start from the 2nd floor. Security is poor: we were let in with other guests because the password hadn’t been provided, and we found the door open twice.

Everything was very cozy and the location was great. The entrance door is hard to close, but the old building adds to its charm.

The room was impeccably clean, the decor appealed to me, and the location was great; I’ll come back to Évora next time. The beds made a lot of noise and were very low.

The spot was convenient, but getting in was tough and there wasn’t any parking.
