“The staff at Riad Musee are phenomenal and willing to assist with any challenges.”
The staff at Riad Musee were fantastic. We accidentally booked a 3‑day stay instead of 4, but the team—especially Nadi and a kind woman whose name I forgot—handled it smoothly, checking us in and fixing the reservation. Driving into the medina is impossible, so we parked a few blocks away and were greeted by a driver who called the Riad; a lady from the hotel personally met us at the car and escorted us to the building. We were originally assigned to the second floor, but the AC was broken, so Nadi moved us downstairs where it was cooler, which was worth the trade‑off of a smaller room. On another night, a taxi driver didn’t speak English; we called the Riad and Nadi spoke to the driver and guided us home. Breakfast is a major perk, served from 8:30‑11:30 daily and cooked to order, giving us the flexibility we liked. When we had to leave early around 7, Nadi prepared breakfast for us to take. The owner also runs two other nearby properties, and we enjoyed a hammam/spa visit at their partner Riad, where the staff walked us over and helped arrange everything. The spa was nice and appropriately priced. The only downside was the smaller downstairs room and the beds being a bit firm.
