The pillows were quite comfortable and supportive, but the staff were under‑trained, especially the breakfast attendants, who inexplicably swapped a guest’s seat with another without asking for permission.

The view is expansive, a green‑scenery hotel rare in Taipei; it’s convenient for Shilin or the northern coast, sits in a central spot, has good sound insulation, decent TV sound, and can connect to YOUTUBE, NETFLIX, or via HDMI.

The king bed was comfortable and the breakfast buffet was good; pet fees were very high, so I thought the gifts could offset that, as some items were already provided. The place is famous for hot springs, so having a bathing facility would have been great.

The room was clean and the equipment felt fairly new, but the breakfast was very plain. The check‑in process took a long time, and although there was a special sign for pets, the front desk offered no dedicated service for pet‑owners, which was absurd and left the queue of customers quite irate when the staff asked who should go first.

The bed was good. Breakfast ran out of items and the staff didn’t replace them on their own; only a few employees were outside the breakfast area, and when the service ended they all left, plus the menu was quite ordinary.
