“Bättre än förväntat,frugan lyrisk”

The location was great, close to nature and many excursion spots, and near Stekenjokk. It wasn’t fully set up, and there were a lot of machines running very early in the morning.

The cabin was spacious, but worn out. The outdoor setting was very dull with a lot of construction projects around. The ground was uneven, with pipes and cable coils, etc. The keypad lock was stiff, so we couldn’t get in when we arrived. Luckily a neighbor who had stayed there before stopped by. He told us that after entering the code, you have to pull the handle very hard to get in. The same thing happened to our German neighbors when they checked in late that evening. There was a big muddy puddle outside the cabin. It could have been fixed with a few shovel loads of gravel/sand. Instead we had to lay the rubber mats from the car to avoid bringing mud into the whole cabin. There were no outdoor furniture pieces, so we had to sit inside to eat and socialize. It seemed easy to just put up a cheap outdoor table and a couple of chairs.

We handled breakfast ourselves, so it was fine. The location was good, but there was nowhere to eat; only the ICA store was open (30-31 August). We stayed in Anden and the lock was awful. It would take a long time to get in every time we went out. It needs fixing.
