Everything inside the building was spotless, and the lobby’s bright, well‑styled interior felt very welcoming; the headboard even had a little recess for a phone and a handy power outlet. A nearby roadside station and supermarket were within walking distance, and a cluster of eateries across the street made dinner easy, while the locally‑made cheese sold by the front desk was delicious. I did hear a faint murmur from the adjacent room, but it never became a real disturbance.

Very good. Nothing special.

I stayed one night here to rest before heading east to Hokkaido. The hotel is nice, has parking, and the area is fairly common for a stop in the middle of Hokkaido. The town is small, so there isn’t much in terms of location, but a convenience store is a short drive away, and I found a cute family restaurant on Google that was 5 minutes from the hotel. Breakfast was reasonable. The pillow was insanely hard. I’ve stayed in many hotels in Japan, but these pillows were really hard; personally, I can’t sleep that way and I definitely slept poorly all night. Unfortunately, the front desk didn’t have spare pillows. I recommend the hotel offer at least a few pillows with a reasonable firmness for people like me.

Easy to find, just up the highway. Average breakfast. The town is very sleepy, everything closes early, and it sits on a highway with large trucks, so there’s road noise.
