I booked because I wanted to be near Tokyo Station. The only downside was that the lobby coffee machine only allowed one cup per day.

Nothing. I have been travelling internationally for 25 years and this was by far the worst experience I had. After more than 12 hours of flight from Riyadh to Tokyo, I landed around 1am and reach hotel around 2:30am. Although my room booking was till checkout time of around 11am and still more than 8 hours were left for me to sleep in the room, the receptionist told me that since I did not reach the hotel before mid-night, I could not check in. I offered to book another room so I could sleep but this was also told to be impossible as per their policy. I was not even allowed to use their wifi for 5 minutes to book an alternative hotel. Hence, I was made to walk at 2:30am in the streets looking for a hotel with available room. Pathetic customer service, no sense of hospitality, would not recommend any one to use this hotel

The location was very close to Tokyo Station, which was great. Inside the room, the air‑conditioner seemed a bit dirty, though it didn’t cause major problems when used. The Wi‑Fi sometimes cut out, which was a bit inconvenient.

It was relaxing to be able to take off my shoes. I could watch YouTube on the large free screen. The bed slept well, so I got a good rest. It was disappointing that I couldn’t find the magnifier that was available.

The bed was firm yet comfortable, and it was the biggest double bed I’ve seen in Tokyo. The window was fully open, unlike the more compact places in Shinjuku. The hidden costs were a problem: I was told about an extended check‑out fee of 3300 ¥, but I wasn’t told that was per hour. I was five minutes over, so I was charged another 3300 ¥. When I questioned it, they said, “if you don’t pay we have to call the police.” There was no hospitality or discussion—just a flat “pay up or we call the police.” In a more premium Kyoto hotel, they charged 1000 ¥ for extra time, covering three hours and a courtesy call to indicate the time was almost up.
