“I never go to there anymore”
Nothing was interesting; there was no breakfast, bad parking, no good air‑conditioner, the area wasn’t clean, and there was no microwave, coffee maker, iron, or hair dryer.

The Historic Mardi Gras Inn is situated within a 10-minute walking distance to the French Quarter, 6 blocks from Esplanade Avenue, and in the vibrant Marigny Neighborhood. This charming area boasts dozens of New Orleans bars and restaurants, with several within 2 blocks of the hotel. Frenchman Street, home to top jazz clubs, is a 5-minute walk away.

The courtyard was nice with a full Mardi Gras view, but the bedding was questionable—seemed stained, so I bought new sheets at Walmart. Ashtrays outside each door made the room smell of stale smoke.

There were cockroaches, a bad odor, and a poorly functioning, broken air‑conditioner.

The location is unbeatable, free street parking is available, the large courtyard fits big groups, the staff are exceptional, and the coffee is bottomless.

The place is in a good spot, but the garbage handling was unprofessional, from the front desk all the way to the owner.
