The place is very clean and well maintained. It’s centrally located with nearby parking. The rooms are basic but perfectly fine and clean. Some other guests were noisy and inconsiderate, but the staff did their best to resolve this.

Everything about the YHA is great. Friendly, helpful staff, perfect location, clean, tidy, cheap, and for me as an older single guy the beauty is that I can go independent with my own room & facilities.

I was nervous at first because I’d never stayed in a hostel before, but overall my first experience was really good and I enjoyed it. I had my own private room with a heater that kept me warm at night. Eateries and takeaways were very close, within walking distance, and I felt very safe in the hostel. The room smelled like it needed to be aired out, so I opened the window for a while and the smell went away and stayed away the whole time. Otherwise everything was 100 percent ☺️

The place sits in a great spot, the rooms are spotless and the staff are friendly, but there are no curtains or power outlets by the beds and the internet is limited to just 1 GB per day.
