The spot was excellent, just a few corners from Sao Bento. The owners were very helpful, letting us arrive earlier than the official check‑in so we could drop off our luggage, which was a huge help.

The location was strategic and the cleanliness was very good, but the bathroom was a bit shabby and clogged on the second day, though the owner promptly fixed it.

Check‑in was easy, the location was great, the furniture was old but good and comfortable, the shower was nice, and it’s close to Torre dos Clérigos, so the spot is very well placed.

It’s near the metro and the center, acceptable for a one‑ or two‑night stay at most. The isolation was poor, the place was very neglected, and the bathroom door didn’t close; with a bit more time and money it could be nicer.
