Everything was fine, princely, and the staff were friendly.
“Gute Unterkunft in Pretzsch”
All was fine despite the building showing its age; the room was clean, breakfast was good with freshly made scrambled eggs, and there was a locked bike room. However, no one was on site before 18 o’clock even though we had been told otherwise, though a quick phone call cleared it up without any real issue.
“Da ich schon mehrere Aufenthalte im Haus hatte kann ich es gern weiter empfehlen.”
The breakfast was good and matched my experiences from the past years. It was possible to have breakfast early, and the buffet was well stocked. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the mattress was too soft for me.

We arrived on a Sunday evening, called ahead and got the key‑box details on the phone – that worked perfectly. The room was tidy and clean, with comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent, and a staff member offered to prepare something extra for us.

Everything was fine. The hotel was closed and the owner could not be reached by phone. The hotel looked very worn out from the outside. I cannot recommend it. Luckily I got my money back.
