Security issue: people tried to break in at 4 am by aggressively forcing the door and turning the handle. Reception never came to check if we were safe despite us calling them. And of course, no compensation.

Close to a metro exit. The stairs are very steep and narrow. The rooms are on the second floor, making it hard with luggage and no one to help. The receptionist’s welcome was cold. The photo doesn’t represent the room we had. The hotel was noisy. The shower door didn’t close properly.

The location is next to the metro. The hotel feels old and the equipment is outdated.

The metro is nearby. The room was not like the photos showed.

I liked the hotel’s layout; it felt very quaint, European and homey. When we first entered our room, a jug of water awaited us and the bed was nice and clean. Overall I was pleased with the experience. The stairs were quite steep and my partner almost slipped and fell one morning when we were coming down. I know it’s a hard fix, but maybe adding rubber grip to the carpeted stairs could help.
