The location and rooms were good and reasonably priced, but the parking cost 78 usd, which felt like an abuse, and a resort fee added 35 dollars without asking, plus various government taxes, so I ended up paying double at the end. The valet and bellboys were friendly, though not very courteous. I had already mentioned the towel issue earlier, but they also needed to replace old towels that were torn.

The location is excellent and the manager is friendly, yet this will likely be my last stay. The services were unacceptable, the room was old and unappealing, and there was no courtesy anywhere. Too many staff who didn't speak English well made communication hard. In the parking lot, I waited a full 25 minutes for my car while later arrivals were handled much faster—apparently the staff needed money to work quickly. When I complained, the manager personally went down to the entrance to investigate, and I’m grateful he was the only polite and helpful person. Reception and dine‑in service were rarely responsive; one night I called for over 45 minutes with no answer, so I had to go downstairs myself to order room service—a first for me in any hotel worldwide. Employees were unpolite, no smiles, and the beds were hollow from overuse, causing back pain. This hotel needs a lot of work.

The spot was unbeatable, just a stone’s throw from Trinity Church and next to Boston Library, and the view from our room was gorgeous. The club lounge was a nice bonus, and every staff member—professional, attentive, approachable, and polite—made a good impression. Our room was spotless and roomy, and the beds were so comfortable that each night we slept like a king. Even on the 20th floor, the night was quiet. The only downside was the room itself: it felt old, with a bath/shower combo that looked like it belonged to the 90s, a shower curtain that seemed unhygienic, and bed linens that were frayed and ripped in places, clearly used for years. Still, everything was clean and well laundered, and housekeeping did a solid job. I just wish we’d asked for a proper shower to make the stay even better.

We booked two rooms because the hotel advertised “interconnecting rooms” on its website, a key reason we chose it and booked far ahead. I explicitly requested interconnecting rooms in my email, and someone replied that they understood and would try to accommodate. When we arrived, the hotel could only locate ONE room, which was extremely stressful. They insisted they had only one reservation, even though everything was confirmed and the hotel had replied about the special request. Eventually, a second room was found, but it turned out not to be interconnecting. The confusion stemmed from my name being listed in two different ways on the reservation. It was a tense moment thinking we might not get the other room, but they finally resolved the issue. Aside from that, the rest of the stay was fine, but I hope they fix this so future guests don’t face the same problem.
