We arrived to a filthy room—hair on the floor and in the bed, mold and blood on the walls, a shower that had never been cleaned. We left immediately, reported it to reception, who did nothing, refused a refund, and we had to book another hotel right away. This is the worst experience you can have on vacation.

After staying four nights, the place is decent; rooms stay clean, and they leave fresh towels and toothbrushes at the door daily. The downside is a nearby karaoke spot that gets loud some evenings, and the housekeeping service is unreliable—today they finally offered a clean, I confirmed, but after a whole day out, no trash was taken out. The bathroom lacks ventilation and the room has no windows.

The property is poorly maintained: everything feels old—furniture, room décor, and leaky old windows—plus it’s very noisy.

The owner is a bit tsundere but takes good care of us. Walking to the market feels a bit far and there's no crosswalk, so you have to go under the bridge; it’s not ideal for a Grab ride. The back alley has a great Banh Mi and coffee that’s truly delicious.
