“Excessively poor standards Resort”
I liked nothing in this property. My family and I recently stayed at RR Heritage, and unfortunately the experience fell well short of expectations. Here's a detailed breakdown: 1. Breakfast Quality The dosa served at breakfast was undercooked/improperly roasted. It seemed the chef preparing it wasn't adequately trained, and the lack of proper roasting was noticeable. 2. Room Size and Pricing We initially booked a room at ₹7,500/night, but it turned out to be excessively small. We had to upgrade on the spot to a ₹10,000/night room just to have adequate space — something that should have been clear at the time of booking. 3. Water Charges There was no complimentary drinking water provided. We were charged ₹35 for a 1-liter bottle that typically costs ₹20 — an unreasonable markup, especially for a basic amenity guests expect at no extra cost. 4. Ambience Compromised The hotel had covered its rooms/balconies in plastic sheeting, presumably to protect against rain. While understandable functionally, it completely killed the aesthetic and prevented us from enjoying the scenery we'd paid for. 5. Late-Night Parking Incident At 10:00 PM, staff knocked on our door asking us to move our car because it was blocking another guest's vehicle. We had parked where we were directed to. If a spot isn't truly reserved or if vehicles can get blocked in, guests shouldn't be assigned there in the first place — or the hotel should ensure such situations don't require disturbing guests late at night. 6. Water Bottle Refund Dispute Since we were being overcharged, I went to a local market (about 2 km away) and bought four water bottles myself at a fair price. When we tried to return the unused bottles to the hotel, the manager kept both the bottles and the money we'd paid — refusing to refund us. This was the most unacceptable part of the entire stay
