The hotel was close to all the amenities, but we stayed in the navy room, which wasn’t sound‑proofed as the booking promised. The wooden floor let us hear other guests upstairs: muffled conversations, cell‑phone beeps, and toilet flushing. The worst was hearing someone in the shower cleaning their nose—when the water turned on above, a vacuum pulled the sound into our room, sounding like a rainstorm outside. Small tiled steps into the unit matched the outside tiles, making them hard to spot; there were no warning strips.

Nothing good—just toast, egg, and fish fingers. Seriously? We didn’t even sleep there; we came back from dinner and the place was empty. The main gate was broken, so we had to drive back to the back gate, which couldn’t lock and felt unsafe. I’ll never go again. After dinner we packed up and drove back to PTA—this was my wife’s 50th, so no need to explain. The receptionist looked like a cleaner and couldn’t communicate properly. We sent a review, but they said we used the service and won’t refund us. We need their video footage to prove we didn’t use the facility. We want a refund and you should ban this venue from bookings. We’re busy with Helo Peter too—very disappointed customer!
