I could get in easily thanks to the electronic locks and the instructions that were sent beforehand. I didn’t have a TV, which was a bit of a let‑down, especially since there’s a shared kitchen on the ground floor. The place mentioned mandatory slippers, but I didn’t feel the need to use anyone else’s; I brought my own.

The apartment was nice. I couldn’t charge my bike’s battery there! Also the whole house is cluttered with A4 papers that both need to be removed and kept. For example, you’re supposed to take off your shoes and put on slippers when you arrive. Many of the outlets don’t work, and there’s no note explaining that. It took us 20 minutes to get in using the code.

The apartment was new, well furnished, and very tidy. The directions to get there, how to open the doors with the code, etc., were spot on. Unfortunately we stayed during an extreme heat wave; there was a fan but it wasn’t enough to cool the place. It was a real heat‑wave for a European country like Germany, and I guess they’re not prepared for such events, which explains the lack of air‑conditioners. Aside from that everything was perfect.

The room was big and the bathroom was clean. A coffee machine in the room would have been nice. The shared kitchen worked fine otherwise.
