All the facilities were good, but the vendors were pushing guests to pose with endangered animals and birds, and that should stop right away.

The Dorado restaurant offered attentive staff and excellent food, and the pool and beach shacks also deserved a perfect score, with friendly waiters serving fantastic drinks—especially the stellar piña colada and crazy coconut. On the other hand, the Zen restaurant required a day‑ahead reservation; we got a 21:30 slot but weren’t served until 22:30, our order was mishandled and several dishes never left the kitchen. When we asked for the missing salmon and tuna nigiri (three salmon, one tuna), they only handed us a single display piece that looked awful and would have sat out all night, so we didn’t eat it, and the staff remained distracted, chatting among themselves instead of attending to us.
